awooooo!!

I finally decided to create a website primarily for myself, because, well, I thought a full introduction would fit better here.

so hi, I'm jade., a 19 year old she/it non-binary transfem lesbian wolfy (θΔ).

I actually like touching computers in my free time! I built my desktop computer myself, have fixed and upgraded some of my laptops and phones on my own and am using Linux (started out with Raspbian (on a Raspberry Pi 2), now using NixOS (on my X201) and Arch Linux (on my desktop)) since 2015. I also host a few services (mostly just for myself) on a server somewhere, and experiment around with self-hosted stuff on a "home server" (which is just a Raspberry Pi 4). I also like to tinker around with all kinds of hard- and software, and am also very much interested in retro computing. I'm a member of the Warsaw Hackerspace and am occasionally visiting AfRA and stratum0, in case you're wondering.

I like travelling around with trains! Whenever possible, I try to be outside, sitting in a train, and I'm actually enjoying it so far - despite suffering from using Deutsche Bahn trains for most of the time. In case you want to ask something related to some specific train, feel free to do so.

some more things about myself: I'm cursed by a rare-ish (1%) chance named "being German", 2 friends of mine so far have called me an "honorary Polish person" (I'm just too good at making pope jokes or something idk lol), and I'm speaking German and English, while also learning Polish for a month already.
